Panthera 15
Panthera 15 is a professional dual technology barrier, which means it uses the combination of IR and MW technology. In this configuration, there are 2 double active IR beams and 1 Predix microwave module. The height of the column is 1,5 meters. The 4 active IR sensors are installed evenly in different heights. The synchronization is done optically. The IR signals are pulsed and coded, tripping time is adjustable from 50 to 500ms. The microwave module operates at K-Band (24.0 to 24.25 GHz) frequency, which results in a very narrow detection zone. 250 different frequency channels can be set (programmed by software in 1MHz steps) to avoid unwanted interference caused by microwave reflection. 256 addresses are available to differentiate more unit in a single RS-485 communication bus. Automatic signal adaptation for environmental conditions (snow, rain, etc.). Operating distance is 10-100 meters, and the maximum width of the detection zone is around 1,2 meter. The settings of the microwave module can be made by the free PC software or with a programming tablet.
